Ilene Paulsen enjoys expressing her God-given talents through painting and other forms of artwork.  She uses a variety of mediums, her favorite being acrylics and watercolors.  An assortment of subjects capture her interest including florals, still life, landscapes, and wildlife.
 

Originally from Minnesota and having lived in Alaska for 20 years Ilene now calls Montana home.  The beauty she sees in life provides a continuous supply of inspiration.
 

Though mostly self taught, she has taken the occasional class to provide new insight and perspective in her work.  Ilene's paintings have won numerous awards.
 

Ilene co-founded the Valley Fine Arts Association in Alaska and is a signature member of the Montana Watercolor Society.
